Your Retreat Committee has contracted with our “Big Gun” to be the featured teacher at the BHQG’s 2008 Retreat. Our Headliner is Gail Garber (www.gailgarberdesigns.com) and Vi Colombe. This year’s theme is “Safari”. Be sure to mark your calendar to hold the dates of October 2, 3, 4 and 5. The Safari Retreat will start as usual with registration and supper on Thursday and will end with breakfast and show and tell on Sunday morning. Respecting the vote that was taken the last day of the 2007 retreat, we will return to the Cedar Canyon Camp located in Rapid City. (Cedar Canyon Camp web site is (www.cedarcanyoncamp.com). Remember the fun of overnight with girlfriends can be even more fun with your quilting friends so make plans to stay over with us.

The Black Hills Quilt Retreat include classes for every level of skill and every area of interest.

The committee is currently looking into bringing in other “Big Guns” as well as working on the plans that will let us price the Safari Retreat. So, you will have to wait a little longer before you will received the registration form with the correct prices.

We also will be asking for volunteers to help us with the retreat in the next newsletter and at the BHQG meetings so… save the dates.
